Privacy Policy for BalanceSheet AI

BalanceSheet AI helps users prepare projected financial statements, CMA data and loan-appraisal calculations. This policy explains how information is handled when the app is used.

Information handled

The app may handle business-identification details, proprietor or partner name, unit address, financial assumptions, projected figures, loan requirements and reports entered or generated by the user.

Information stored on the device

Drafts, completed reports and payment-unlock references are stored in the app's private device storage with a local backup. Users can delete reports from My Financials. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage may remove locally stored reports.

Payments

Paid PDF sharing is purchased through Google Play Billing. The app sends a Google Play purchase token and a non-personal saved-report identifier to the BalanceSheet AI API so the purchase can be verified, bound to the selected report and marked as consumed. Google processes payment credentials under its own privacy, security and legal-retention obligations. Legacy Cashfree orders may still be checked only to honour payments started in an earlier app version. BalanceSheet AI does not receive or store card, bank-account or UPI credentials.

Optional AI commentary

When specifically requested, calculated report data and limited business-profile information are sent securely to the app API and processed using OpenAI to generate credit commentary. Users can prepare and preview deterministic financial statements without requesting AI commentary.

Sharing and security

Information is shared only with service providers needed for requested features, including Google Play, OpenAI and API infrastructure providers. Cashfree is contacted only when checking a legacy order created by an earlier app version. Personal information is not sold. Data sent to the API is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

User choices

Users may avoid AI processing by not requesting commentary and may delete saved reports in My Financials. Payment or unauthorised-transaction disputes may be sent to rahulpanjiyara@gmail.com.

Children

This business and financial-productivity app is not directed to children.
